Night Light?!

So I recently just finished my co op placement at Pipeline Studios. It was a great experience and I definitely learned a lot about how this industry works. Now I have more time to relax and get my 4th year film up and running. I'm still not happy with the character design I posted a few weeks ago. I realized it took me too long to draw him in various poses. I decided to take a break from character design and work on a couple of layouts.

The telescope will be added later! I'm putting extra time on it to make it look really unique.
The title "Nuit Lumiere" was just kind of placed there without thought. Its french for night light which plays a role in my film. I just thought the french version of night light sounds really cool. Any word in another language sounds better.

We'll see what happens. I might just change everything again.

timbers, you are so hilare. you are right, stuff in other languages always sounds more intriguing and cool. except for this one place that i had lunch at today, they are trying to be way too french at things and it's so unnecessary. it's supposed to be like a little french cafe place, and they tried to name all their sandwiches french stuff by sticking a "le" or a "la" in front of it. Only problem is that the rest of the sandwich name is complete english. like they have a sandwich called the "le wall street". seriously?! you cant just do that. i mean if anything wouldnt it be like "la rue de wall" or something. they're not even trying! well anyways. all that to say that i think your idea to switch it up with french words is pretty cool. and actually legit. you're not just saying "le night light" like the lame french cafe. congrats on finishing your internship too! can't believe you are going into your fourth year of school...yikes!!!
